Sunrise, sunrise... the glory a fore my eyes
Doth woke me from my sweet dreams,
Where I wandered in vast wilderness,
Surrounded by lilies and roses,
Listening to the bees humming,
The humble robin singing,
The fawn heeding to his lively tune.
The snows of winter melt into spring,
Your rays bathe the grass in guiding warmth,
Safe and afresh I rise from sleep
I thank thee, sunrise, for the loving surprise...
