Sunrise, sunrise... the glory a fore my eyes
Doth woke me from my sweet dreams,
Where I wandered in vast wilderness,
Surrounded by lilies and roses,
Listening to the bees humming,
The humble robin singing,
The fawn heeding to his lively tune.
The snows of winter melt into spring,
Your rays bathe the grass in guiding warmth,
Safe and afresh I rise from sleep
I thank thee, sunrise, for the loving surprise...

Your Name in the Rain...
The falling of the rain,
Tears down my face,
The whispers of the wind,
Stealing through the rushes and willowy boughs,
Down the meadows and river valley,
It reaches the small corner of the endless land,
Where I sit and hear your name in the rain,
I close my eyes and listen,
Hear the rain coming down,
The feel of water down my hair,
I hear your name in the rain,
Washing my troubles and pains all away,
Echoing throughout time,
Wish I could hold this moment forever,
Hear your name in this enchanted rain forever...
Tears down my face,
The whispers of the wind,
Stealing through the rushes and willowy boughs,
Down the meadows and river valley,
It reaches the small corner of the endless land,
Where I sit and hear your name in the rain,
I close my eyes and listen,
Hear the rain coming down,
The feel of water down my hair,
I hear your name in the rain,
Washing my troubles and pains all away,
Echoing throughout time,
Wish I could hold this moment forever,
Hear your name in this enchanted rain forever...

The Starry Skies
The starry skies, the deep blue sea,
The calm skies and the serene depths of endless space,
What is Time? I ask myself, lost in deep moments like this,
Lost in myself, lost in time, lost in spectacle,
Listening to the night beats, the trees swaying in the wind,
The moon shines from its perch outliving the distant stars,
The dark beauty of the night,
The fragrance of the night jasmine,
Fills the night with sweet dreams...
The Lone Tree... Standing Alone
Our world is such a beautiful place. I pause to visualize the breath-taking view of the dark green hue of the nearby forest. The power of nature forces me to sit down and breathe in the fresh air. The acrid dust and smoke that was billowing near my home from the factory had seemed to vanish. I came here everyday.... I sought refuge here daily.... from my work.... from my troubles.... from my miseries.... from pains.... from my anguishes.... and all the synonyms one can ever find for those words.... WHAM!! an acorn bounced from my head.... something cried and out of nowhere a squirrel scramed down the rugged layers of bark and pried its tiny fingers around the nut. I watched with great interest, how the eager scamp took its grub into the tiny crack of the tree. I heard a bird screech....better be heading home....time had passed by so quickly.... I had to leave before it became too dark....
